Is Whitening My Teeth Painful?
No: teeth whitening is not painful, some people will feel a little tingling in their mouth; this is the whitening process working this tingling will ease after a few hours. People who suffer from sensitive teeth should try there treatments for shorter times plus use a Sensodye type tooth paste before and after their treatments. (For a limited time we are stocking a gel designed for sensitive teeth view here).
How Long Does a Whitening Process Take?
The Results are depending on individual characteristics of each person. Like age and the grade of discolouration. If you start by leaving the whitening gel in for approximately 20 minutes then move up to 30 minutes on the second treatment, you will then see an improvement by at least 2 shades whiter and you will see at least 11 shades within 10 days. (Please remember that every body’s teeth and lifestyles are different and some teeth will whiten quicker than others)

Does the whitening procedure make the teeth sensitive?
Hi Emma.
Our teeth whitening kits do not make your teeth sensitive, But if you have sensitive teeth before use, you may have to start any whitening treatments for shorter times to start with just to see how you get on.
Any sensitivity only lasts for a few hours normally.

I BOUGHT THE WHITENING KIT ABOUT 6 OR 8 MONTHS AGO I STILL HAVE ONE GEL LEFT UNOPENED BUT IS AS TURNED A YELLOW COLOUR IS THIS NO GOOD NOW

They need to be kept in a very cool place.
All our stocks are kept in coolers or fridges.

If I am Pregnant can I use teeth whitening products?
No. we do not recommend using any teeth whitening product whilst you are pregnant or breast feeding.
How Long Can I Store My Gels For?
Un opened gel syringes will last for aproximatly 18 months from purchase if stored in a fridge.
How long does the bleaching process take?
Results are depending on individual characteristics of each person. Like age and the grade of discolouration but most people usually see results after the first treatment by leaving the tray for 20 minutes in the mouth even if the whitening period is only 10 minutes.
Best results are achieved after 5 or more treatments depending on personal guidelines as described above.
Is whitening the teeth harmful?
